I had the pleasure of staying at Pizzorno Lodge & Wine recently, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Upon arrival, the warm welcome from Oscar set the tone for a remarkable visit. The attention to detail and passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction – from the impeccable service to the exquisite petit Verdot wine served at lunch.What truly set Pizzorno apart was the knowledgeable and engaging wine tour led by Lucio. His insights into the winemaking process, including the production of sparkling wine, were unparalleled. The modern yet charmingly renovated family home provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the vineyards, and the dining experience with "grandpa" was a delightful touch that left me satiated with delicious pizzas.The convenience of being located next to the vineyards allowed for picturesque sunset views from the porch and easy access to the tasting room just across the street. The accommodation was not only comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a well-stocked mini-bar and luxurious free toiletries.
